Distribution. United States of America (Florida), Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, Costa Rica, Cuba, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Suriname, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, and Africa ( Monné 2024a; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). In Peru, it is recorded from Junin, Cusco, and Madre de Dios ( Aurivillius 1909; Brèthes 1920; Monné et al. 2012; Monné & Chaboo 2015; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). New regional records: Loreto (Rio Napo), and Lima.
