KEKENODON HECTOR, 1881

Etymology: Kekenodon , meaning seal tooth (referring to the serrated molariform teeth of the holotype), from the Te Reo Māori kekeno, a seal, and ‘don’ derived from the Greek οδόντος, a tooth.

Type and only included species: Kekenodon onamata Hector, 1881 .

Diagnosis: As for the type and only included species K. onamata .
