( Figs 12–22 View FIGURES 12 – 22 , 44–52 View FIGURES 44 – 52 )

Description. Length of male 4.1–4.5 mm; female 4.1–4.6 mm. Dorsum mostly dark brown; eyes brownish; two big dark brown patches occupied four fifth of crown, adjoining area yellowish; pronotum and mesonotum uniformly dark brown, anterolateral triangles of scutellum indistinct; head anterior margin with pair of mottled yellowish; frontoclypeus yellowish to brown on face, adjoining area dark brown; forewing uniformly dark brown, brochosome field pale white (figs 12–16, 45). Female coloration generally same as male, except frontoclypeus brownish (figs 17–20).

Coronal suture distinct, extending to anterior margin of head (figs 12, 14, 17, 19). Male 2S apodemes short, weakly divergent and more black distally, extended to anterior margin of sternite IV (fig. 47).

Subgenital plate with two macrosetae near base, apex of plate with straight or curved dorsad (figs 44, 48). Paramere robust, few microsetae on middle (fig. 48). Connective stem longer than in P. membrana sp. nov., central ridge indistinct and anterior arms slightly narrow (fig. 49). Aedeagus shaft as long as nearly ventral process; genital atrium elongate and narrow; aedeagal shaft tapered on apex; ventral process sinuated subapically in lateral view, and V-shaped between basally joint of shaft and process; gonopore subapical (figs 22, 50–52).

Type material. Holotype, ♂, Shangri-la , Diqing, Yunnan Province, China, 8 Aug. 2012, Coll. Hu Li . Paratypes, 1♂ 3♀♀, same data as holotype, coll. Hu Li and Wenqin Liang ; 2♂♂ 1♀, Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve , Deqin, Yunnan Province, China, altitude 3500 m, 16 Aug. 2015, Coll. Maofa Yang, Bin Yan and Guoru Ren .

Etymology. The species name is derived from the Latin “ longa ”, meaning “elongate”, and refers to the form of the genital atrium of the aedeagus.

Remarks. The species is closely related to P. membrana sp. nov., but can be distinguished by its body coloration, subgenital plate with two macrosetae near the base, and aedeagus with shaft tapered apically, and ventral process sinuated subapically.
