Distribution — East Africa to South Africa and South Malesia: East Java (Asem Bagus) and Lesser Sunda Islands (Timor, Wetar) (Van Ooststroom & Hoogland 1953).
Habitat & Ecology — On Ficus glomerata Roxb. and other woody plants; apparently confined to regions with a very dry season ( Van Ooststroom & Hoogland 1953). A specimen from Timor was found at 300 m.
Vernacular name — Non-atois (Dawan).
