In Nova Scotia ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ) found almost exclusively in deciduous forests. Reared from Acer , Betula , Cornus , Fagus , and Platanus spp. ( Muona 2000). This species is widely distributed in North America but quite rare across the continent ( Muona 2000).
