Distribution. Transeurasiatic, temperate. Throughout the Russian territory from Kaliningradskaya Oblast to Primorye, Sakhalin Isl. and Kuriles (except Kamchatka and northern part of Khabarovsky Kray). Outside Russia in Europe,? Turkey,?Transcaucasia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Japan (eastern part of Hokkaido Isl.).
Hostplants: Primula , Leontodon , Taraxacum , Achillea , Lamium , Viola , Plantago , Valeriana officinalis , Vaccinium myrtillus , Filipendula , Poa , Holcus , Phalaris , sometimes flaccid leaves ( Beljaev 2016).
Genetic note. There are two types of mitochondrial haplogroups within the same population of S. immutata in the region (minimal p -distance 1.2%). Notably, one of these haplogroups is identical with the European one, however, the Siberian carrier of this haplotype has atypical sternite A 8 in the male genitalia: right ceras is considerably elongated (ceras-polymorphism is a well-known phenomenon in Scopulini , see Hausmann 1999, 2004). The structure of its genital segment and phallos fully corresponds to the characters of typical S. immutata . The carrier of different (new) haplotype has a typical structure of sternite A8. Both these haplotypes were collected in the same location.
