Remarks. In the same area, specimens of Thraulodes xavantinensis Mariano, Flowers & Froehlich, 2011 and one specimen of Thraulodes sp. were captured. This morphospecies resembles Thraulodes schlingeri Traver & Edmunds 1967 based on the curved telopenis. The main differences were the position of the telopenis (directed medially-ventrally on T. schlingeri versus postero-medially on Thraulodes sp. 1 ), the distribution of the spots on the abdomen (tergum II–VIII with a pair of gray midway spots on T. schlingeri versus midway spots on each tergum II–VIII absent on Thraulodes sp. 1 ) and the projection of the styliger plate (medial portion sharp on T. schlingeri versus medial portion rounded on Thraulodes sp. 1 ). The individual possibly represents a new species; however, until more specimens and different life stages can be added to the analysis, this record will be treated with a provisioal species designation. It was found in only one collecting site, an area with Cerrado influence.
