Redescription. Male: forewing 34–42 mm, hind wing 36–44 mm, abdomen 21–24 mm; female: forewing 36–43 mm, hind wing 38–45 mm, abdomen 22–24 mm
Head: vertex inflated, dark brown with black setae; compound eye dark with black spots; forehead yellowish with sparse setae; clypeus and labium yellowish, labial palpi white and yellow. antenna clavate. thorax ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1. A E): pronotum trapezoidal, longer than wide; yellow with dense black and white setae; a black stripe in the middle; a brown band in each side; mesothorax and metathorax dark with several yellow stripes; mesothorax with sparse black setae, 2 white setae tuft; wings: hyaline with several distinct stripes; forewing costal area simple, widened towards apex, Rs arises before CuA fork; 3 presectoral crossveins before original of Rs; 29–33 veins from origin of Rs to hypostigmatic cell; anterior Banksian line distinct, posterior Banksian line absent; 19–21 cross-veins in prefork area; anastomosis place of CuP+1A and CuA with an arch-shaped black stripe; a linear stripe in rhegma area; 2A with several branches running in a fairly even curve toward to 3A vein; hind wing costal area simple, Rs arises before CuA fork, a single presectoral cross-vein before origin of Rs; anterior Banksian line distinct, posterior Banksian line absent; a black spot in rhegma area; 14–15 cross-veins in prefork area; legs (fig. 2D): long and slender, with sparse long hair and dense short seate; foreleg: femur and titbia mostly black, 1st tarsomere and base of femur yellowish. 2 nd to 5 th tarsomere black. 1st tarsomere equals to 5 th tarsomere, the 2nd to 4th tarsomere shorter; tibial spurs yellowish-brown, straight, curved at apex, extending to 1st tarsomere; claw brown, curves to 5 th tarsomere; midleg and hindleg similar to foreleg; base of midleg tibia yellowish-rown; femur of hindleg yellow with some brown spots. abdomen: shorter than hind wings, dark brown; a longitudinal dark stripe in the middle. male genitalia (fig. 2B): gonarcus strongly bended, ossification weak; basal part of parameres combined, distal part fork-like; mediuncus ossification strong, developed; female terminalia ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 C): ectoproct narrow with dense long setae; 8-interior gonapophysis short and small with dense long setae. 8-external gonapophysis finger-like, developed with dense long setae; 9-interior gonapophysis developed with dense digging setae; 9-external gonapophysis small and short.
