Adicella carmen new species ( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 A–C)
Holotype: male. Body and wings brownish yellow, eyes darker. Forewing 5 mm. Male genitalia: Segment IX (in lateral view) with straight anterior edges and 2 large incisions on posterior margin forming small protruding lobe in its middle portion. Superior appendages elliptical in lateral view, tapered distally in dorsal view. Segment X large, thick in lateral view with 3 protruding finger-like projections in middle of dorsal surface; rounded, with shallow distal terminal incision of posterior margin in dorsal view. Inferior appendages (gonopods) long, each with dorsal edge almost straight in lateral view, with rounded apex and ventral incision in middle forming ventrally directed apical hook; subbasal posterior margin enlarged as rounded projection; proximal parts of inferior appendages transversal in ventral view with lateral, long, protruding distal branches almost straight, wide and obliquely truncate at apices and each bearing small low basomesal projection.
The new species is related to Adicella koronis MALICKY & THANI 2002, Adicella larentia MALICKY & CHEUNBARN 2002, and Adicella kalypso MALICKY 2002, differing from them in the long and wide, shallowly incised segment X with rounded lateral parts in dorsal view, in the presence of 5 dorsal subbasal slender projections on tergum X, 3 of which (medial and 2 lateral) much longer than 2 sublateral, and in the large ventral incision and ventrally directed hook of each inferior appendage (deeply divided tergum X with acute apices in all 3 species, only 2 lateral wide subbasal projections of tergum X in A. kalypso , and inferior appendages each without ventral incision and without ventrally directed hook in A. koronis and A. larentia ).
Holotype male: INDONESIA, Lombok, Senaru, irrigation channel, by net, 08º18.214´S, 116º24.489´E, height 490 m, 29–30 August 2012, leg. IVANOV, MELNITSKY.
Distribution. Indonesia (Lombok Island).
Derivatio nominis. The species name is nominative singular of the Latin neuter noun carmen (poem), used in apposition to the generic name.
