Description. The morphological characters of the apterous viviparous female and alate viviparous female are the same as in the descriptions by Raychaudhuri (1956).
Embryo (in alate viviparous female). Body long oval and entirely colorless. Dorsal setae of body long and pointed. Head with 1 pair of frontal setae, 1 pair of spinal dorsal setae in anterior part and 2 pairs of dorsal setae between eyes. Pronotum with 2 pairs of spinal and 2 pairs of marginal setae; mesonotum and metanotum each with 1 pair of spinal, 1 pair of pleural and 2 pairs of marginal setae. Abdominal tergite I–V each with 1 pair of spinal, 1 pair of pleural and 1 pair of marginal setae; tergites VI and VII each with 1 pair of spinal and 1 pair of marginal setae; tergite VIII with 1 pair of spinal setae. Siphunculi present.

Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Fujian, Hainan, Taiwan), Japan.
Host plants. Lithocarpus glaber , Lithocarpus sp., Quercus aliena and Castanopsis sp. ( Fagaceae ).
