Mesoplophora (Parplophora) flavida Niedbała, 1985 View in CoL
Diagnosis (Liu & Chen 2010). Surface of body densely dotted. Prodorsum without lateral carinae; rostrum pointed; sensilli with long fusiform barbed head; other prodorsal setae smooth and equally thick, except exobothridial setae thin; exobothridial setae longer than diameter of bothridium; comparative length: in> le> ro> ex; lamellar setae situated closer to rostral setae than interlamellar setae. “Notogastral” setae smooth, except setae e 1 and e 2 rough. Ten pairs of smooth “ventral” setae unequal in length; genital setae with formula: 6:1; setae in aggenital position absent; three pairs of smooth anal setae.
Remarks. This species was collected on a cerambycid beetle and is inferred as a phoretic mite.
