Andrena (Callandrena) manifesta ( Fox, 1894) View in CoL

[ Lectotype: CASC; ♀ El Taste , Baja California Sur, Mexico ]

Andrena manifesta is the type species of the subgenus Callandrena Cockerell, 1989 . This species was first reported by Ayala et al. (1996) in BCS. Historical records indicate its presence in the Gulf Coast as well as in the Cape Mountains ecoregions. Voucher specimens of this species are at INHS, SEMC, and SDNHM. See fig. 7.
