Protandrena (Heterosarus) margaritensis ( Fox, 1893)

Endemic

[ Lectotype: CASC; ♀ Santa Margarita Island , Baja California Sur, Mexico]

This species appears to be endemic to the Magdalena Plains, with a single known record. The specimens were collected on the Pacific coastal Island of Santa Margarita in BCS ( Cockerell 1899; Timberlake 1975). See fig. 66.
