Perdita binotata View in CoL specializes on pollen from plants in the genus Physalis View in CoL L. ( Fowler 2020). This species is widespread with records in both BC and BCS. Holotype and allotype specimens of Perdita binotata View in CoL were collected in the Gulf Coast region in BCS and are vouchered in the CASC and UCRC collections ( Timberlake 1954). We reviewed 21 specimens (17 ♂, 4 ♀) including the allotype and three male paratypes collected in Coyote Cove, Concepción Bay in BCS and 17 specimens collected at Canipole (CASC). See fig. 37.
