Calliopsis callosa View in CoL specializes on pollen from Tidestromia Standl. View in CoL in the family Amaranthaceae ( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . This species was collected in the Gulf Coast region in BCS in October 1941 ( Rozen 1958) and the associated specimens (3 ♂, 2 ♀) are vouchered at CASC. See fig. 28.
