[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ Cronise , Mojave Desert, California, USA; July 9, 1938]

This species was previously known only from the southwestern USA ( Timberlake 1980b). It represents a new species record to the BCP and Mexico with the record of two females collected in the Vizcaíno Desert in June 2017 by the CARCIB team. See fig. 123 .
