Anthophora pachyodonta View in CoL is a xeric species distributed in the Sonoran and Mojave Deserts that specializes on pollen from plants in the family Asteraceae View in CoL , especially Bebbia juncea Greene ( Orr et al. 2018) View in CoL . It has been collected in BC’s Lower Colorado and Vizcaíno Deserts and in the Gulf Coast region of BCS ( Orr et al. 2018). The BBPT collected 11 specimens, five in the Gulf Coast in Mulegé City, BCS in March 2021 (4 ♂, 1 ♀), and six in the Lower Colorado Desert in May 2022 and April 2023 (4 ♀, 2 ♂). Voucher specimens are in MABC (3 ♀, 3 ♂), and ECOAB (3 ♂, 2 ♀). See fig. 75.
