Anthophora edwardsii is a new record in Mexico and BC as a result of the BBPT fieldwork. This species is widespread in the western USA and was first documented during our project in the BCP in the Coastal Sage Matorral in March 2021 (1 ♀) and Chaparral in April 2021 (8 ♀, 1 ♂) . Voucher specimens are in MABC (5 ♀, 1 ♂) , and ECOAB (4 ♀) . See fig. 79.
