Hylaeus (Hylaeana) panamensis Michener, 1954 View in CoL

Hylaeus panamensis View in CoL has been reported in BC and BCS ( Cockerell 1924; Snelling 1968). We reviewed three specimens collected in the Central Desert, 11 in Vizcaíno Desert and 15 collected in the Gulf Coast vouchered in CASC (Supplementary material 1). Additionally, the BBPT collected six specimens from: Succulent Coastal Matorral in July 2020 (1 ♂), in the Gulf Coast (2 ♀), Vizcaíno Desert (1 ♂), and Central Desert (1 ♂) in March 2021, and in the Lower Colorado Desert in April 2022 (1 ♂). Voucher specimens are in MABC. See fig. 161.
