Hylaeus nunenmacheri represents a new species record for the BCP, though its presence was predicted by Snelling (1968). The BBPT collected one female in BC in the transition zone between the Chaparral and the Baja California Mountains ecoregion in Sierra San Pedro Mártir in May 2022 ( MABC). See fig. 161.
