Genus Biastes Ashmead, 1898 View in CoL *

Biastes View in CoL are brood parasites of the species-rich genus Dufourea View in CoL in the subfamily Rophitinae ( Torchio et al. 1967) View in CoL . Due to the need of a revision for the genus Biastes View in CoL , species-level identification was not attainable for the specimens we examined. We examined some previously undetermined specimens vouchered at SDNHM to the subgenus Neopasites , which was a group previously known only to California, USA and had not been recorded on the BCP.
