[ Lectotype: ANSP: ♂ California, USA]

This species has a wide distribution in the USA and this study presents the first documented report of Melecta pacifica in Mexico. Both females and males were collected during April and May in 2021 and 2022 in the Coastal Sage Matorral of Guadalupe Valley (MABC). See fig. 140.
