[ Holotype: ANSP; ♂ Texas]

Ericrocis lata is widely distributed throughout the BCP and has been recorded between the months of March and August. This species is a brood parasite of bees in the genus Centris . We have examined seven specimens vouchered at CASC collected in Vizcaíno Desert in March 1984 (1 ♂), Gulf Coast (1 ♀), Tropical Dry Forest (2 ♀, 1 ♂), and Sarcocaulescent Shrubland in July 1938 (1 ♂), and August 1978 (1 ♀); and one male collected in the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland in August 1966 ( EMEC). The BBPT collected this species (8 ♀, 1♂) in the Lower Colorado Desert , Central Desert , Magdalena Plains , Gulf Coast, and the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland (Supplementary material 1). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 137 .
