Genus Nomada Scopoli, 1770 View in CoL

Nomada are brood parasites on a wide variety of genera including Andrena and Panurgus ( Andrenidae ), Agapostemon , Halictus , Lasioglossum , and Lipotriches ( Halictidae ); Melitta ( Melittidae ), and Colletes ( Colletidae ) Michener (2007).

Specimen identifications of this genus were made with reference to original descriptions, open access holotype images by the USNM ( USNM, 2024) , and series of reference specimens determined by R. R . Snelling, and A. Byron vouchered at CASC and LACM .
