[ Holotype: ANSP; ♀ Fort Tejon , California, USA]
This species is distributed from the southwestern Canada to northwestern Mexico. In BC, there is a record of a specimen collected in 1961 preserved at the SEMC and collected in the Chaparral habitat ( GBIF 2023). We examined four specimens collected in Chaparral in March 1961 ( LACM), and one male collected in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra Juarez in May 1982 ( SDNHM). Additionally, the BBPT collected one female in Chaparral in April 2022 ( MABC). See fig. 143 .
