[ Holotype: AMNH; ♀ Southern California, USA]

This species occurs in California, USA and the BCP, Mexico and specializes on plants in the genus Ehrendorferia T. Fukihara & Lidén in the family Papaveraceae ( Fowler 2020) . We examined one male collected in the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland in October 1941 (CASC). See fig. 220.
