This species occurs from central Mexico to the southern USA. In the BCP, it has been reported in BC and BCS ( Ayala et al. 1996). TAMU reports two specimen records from the Magdalena Plains, BCS collected in June 1973 (iDigBio 2023). The CARCIB team collected seven specimens (5 ♂, 2 ♀) in several localities of the Magdalena Plains in September 2016, April, and June 2017, and May 2019. See fig. 215 .
