Coelioxys (Boreocoelioxys) novomexicanus Cockerell, 1909 View in CoL

[ Holotype: UCMC; ♀ Las Cruces , New Mexico, USA]

This species occurs in the xeric regions of northern Mexico and the western USA. Within the BCP , it has been recorded in the Magdalena Plains , BCS ( BBSL) . We reviewed eight specimens collected in the Gulf Coast (1 ♀), Magdalena Plains (3 ♀), Sarcocaulescent Shrubland (3 ♂), and Tropical Dry Forests (1 ♀; EMEC). The BBPT collected one female in the Coastal Sage Matorral in June 2020 ( MABC). See fig. 214 .
