[ Holotype: AMNH; ♂ near Oasis , California, USA; April 19, 1925]
Native to the southwestern USA and northern Mexico, Anthidium cockerelli has been recorded in the Coastal Sage Matorral, Lower Colorado Desert , Central Desert ( BC), as well as in the Vizcaíno Desert ( BCS) by BBSL. The BBPT collected one male in the Vizcaíno Desert in March 2021, and one female in the Baja California Mountaiconsons in May 2022 ( MABC). See fig. 196 .
