Anthidium (Anthidium) cochimi Snelling, 1992

[ Holotype: LACM; ♂ 27.36 km SE Santa Rita, Baja California Sur, Mexico; September 18, 1983]

Anthidium cochimi is found in northern Mexico and in the southwestern USA ( Gonzalez & Griswold 2013). This species has been previously reported in the Central Desert, Gulf Coast, and La Giganta Ranges with preserved specimens vouchered in SDNHM, BBSL ( GBIF 2023). The CARCIB team collected specimens in Vizcaíno Desert (3 ♀), Gulf Coast (2 ♂, 1 ♀), Magdalena Plains (3 ♂, 1 ♀), and in the Cape Mountains (1 ♂). Additionally, the BBPT collected this species in the Magdalena plains in March 2021 (3 ♂, 1 ♀), and in the Central Desert in April 2023 (2 ♀, 2 ♂). Voucher specimens are in MABC (3 ♂, 2♀), and ECOAB (2 ♂, 1 ♀). See fig. 195.
