[ Holotype: SEMC; ♂ Santa Rosa Mountain , San Jacinto Mountains, Riverside Co., California, USA; June 8, 1940]

This species is known from California, USA and BC , Mexico. Within the BCP , it has only been recorded in the Baja California Mountains by SDNHM ( GBIF 2023 View Materials ). We reviewed specimens collected in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra San Pedro Mártir in May 1958 (1 ♂; EMEC), and Sierra Juarez in 1983 (5 ♂; SDNHM). See fig. 255 .
