Chelostoma californicum View in CoL specializes on pollen from Phacelia Juss.( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . Hurd & Michener (1955) indicated on a map that this species occurs in the CPF in California, USA and BC, Mexico, and was later corroborated by Hurd (1979) and Ayala et al. (1996).
