Chelostoma cockerelli View in CoL specializes on pollen from Eriodictyon Benth. ( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . This is a new species record for Mexico. The BBPT collected specimens in the Chaparral in May 2021 (1 ♂), the Baja California Mountains in Sierra Juarez (1 ♂), and Sierra San Pedro Martír in May 2022 (2 ♂). Voucher specimens are in MABC.
