Ashmeadiella erema specializes on pollen from several plants in the family Fabaceae , including Dalea L., Hedysarum L., and Lupinus L. ( Fowler 2020). This represents a new species record for the BCP. The BBPT collected one female in Sierra Juarez in May 2022 (MABC). See fig. 235.
