[ Holotype: SEMC; ♂ Altadena , California; May 12, 1934]

This species is only known from California, USA and BC, Mexico. Within BC, it has only been recorded in the Coastal Sage Matorral in May 1980 by SDNHM ( GBIF 2023 View Materials ). See fig. 237 .
