Records associated with mangroves: Pointe Marin Beach, Sainte-Anne, Martinique, intertidal algae ( Bostrychia sp.) from mangrove roots ( Rhizophora mangle ) (Pfingstl & Lienhard 2017).

Records from other habitats: La Sagesse Bay , Grenada, intertidal algae ( Bostrychia ) growing on concrete structure (Pfingstl & Lienhard 2017).

Distribution: Martinique, Grenada.

Remarks: This species probably occurs on further islands of the Lesser Antilles (Pfingstl & Lienhard 2017).
