Nomenclatural notes:—The attempted typification of the name Kitchingia uniflora View in CoL on the plate included in Stapf (1909: t. 8286) by Boiteau & Allorge-Boiteau (1995: 81) was not effective. This not effective typification was repeated by Descoings (2003: 178), as “ T: [icono]: Curtis’s Bot. Mag. 135: t.8286, 1909”, with “ T: ” being the “(nomenclatural) type ” ( Eggli 2003: X). The typification of the name Kitchingia uniflora View in CoL , basionym of Kalanchoe uniflora View in CoL , was dealt with by Smith (2024b: 68).
Taxonomic notes:— Kalanchoe uniflora is an accepted species (see Boiteau & Allorge-Boiteau 1995: 81–82, Descoings 2003: 178–179, and Smith et al. 2021c: 255–257).
