TYPE LOCALITY: Australia, South Australia, Ooldea .
DISTRIBUTION: Edge of Nullarbor Plain (South Australia), Western Australia, S Northern Territory.
STATUS: Unknown.
COMMENTS: Originally described as a subspecies of murino , but considered a distinct species by Archer (1975:243) and Kirsch and Calaby (1977:15).
