Specimens examined. 1f, Jazan, Fifa, Al-Tatweer Centre, 5–26.i.2014, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah ( CERS).

Distribution. New to Saudi Arabia. van Emden (1948) recorded P. virgata from Yemen. No other material is known from the Arabian Peninsula ( Pont 1991: 348). It was described from South Africa.
