Distribution in Iran. Alborz ( Babmorad et al. 2000, with doubt; Linnavuori 2007), Ardabil ( Linnavuori 2007; Hosseini 2013a), East Azarbaijan, Fars (Linnavuori 2009), Golestan (Ghahari 2013), Guilan ( Linnavuori 2007; Hosseini 2013a), Isfahan ( Jafari et al. 2002), Khorasan ( Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999), Mazandaran, Tehran ( Linnavuori 2007), Iran (no locality cited) ( Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution, hosts and prey. Holopalaearctic species; frequently found on Salix sp. ( Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999; Linnavuori 2007). Predator of poplar lace bug, Monosteira unicostata ( Heteroptera : Tingidae ) ( Babmorad et al. 2000; Jafari et al. 2002).
