Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Linnavuori 2007), East Azarbaijan, Fars (Linnavuori 2010), Guilan ( Linnavuori 2007), Khorasan ( Linnavuori 1999a; Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999; Heiss & Linnavuori 2002 ), Tehran, Zanjan ( Linnavuori 2007), Iran (no locality cited) ( Kerzhner & Josifov 1999).
General distribution and hosts. Irano-Turanian species, extending from South European Territory of Russia to Iran, Central Asia, Mongolia and China; collected on Ephedra distachya ( Linnavuori 1999a) and Ephedra procera ( Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999; Linnavuori 2007, 2010).
