Geographical distribution. It is distributed in the Red Sea and Western Pacific ( Castro et al. 2004) .
Remarks. Tetralia cinctipes generally inhabits densely branched corals. It always occurs as a few heterosexual pairs as well as some juveniles in a coral colony.
