THe foreWing of H. dalmae is narroWer tHan tHose of H. reticulata and H. unicolor, HavingtHeapexmorepointed , tHanin H. mongoliensis and H. reticulata (tHeapexoftHelatterspeciesisratHerrounded). Heliophobusdalmae differs fromtHesetHreecloselyrelatedspeciesbyitspalegreyisH-WHitisHsuffused broWnforeWinggroundcolourWitHocHreousHue, andbytHenarroWerand paler, broWnisH-greymarginalsuffusionoftHeHindWing. Wingspan 34–42 mm.
THediagnosticfeaturesoftHegenitalapparatusof H. dalmae aretHebiggestandbroadestaedeagusWitHintHisspecies- group, tHelongandcoiled vesicaWitHtWofullcoils, longandWavedsclerotisedribbonandWitHsHort cornutifieldintHemales; andtHetWocoilsoftHeappendixbursaeintHefe- males, incorrespondenceWitHtHeconfigurationoftHemalevesica. THeWell- developedleftdigitusof H. dalmae issimilartotHatof H. unicolor .
Bionomics. THeHabitatsof H. dalmae aredrymeadoWs, Hillsidesandxe- rotHermicgrasslandsoftHeHigHmountains, betWeen 1100–2800 maltitudes. THeadultscanbefoundfrommid- MaytobeginningofAugust.
Distribution. Heliophobusdalmae occursintHeCrimeanPeninsula, tHe Caucasusrange, TurkeyandNWIran.
