Eryngium maritimum View in CoL L. ( Apiaceae )

Species extinct from the flora of Ventotene.

Due to erosion and the impact of tourism, the species is now extinct from Calanave, the locality mentioned in a previous report ( Anzalone & Caputo, 1976).
