Distribution. Andhra Pradesh: Coringa; Karnataka: Kudapur District—Thannerbagi, Rajadi bridge; Maharashtra: Vikhroli, Kannamwar, Thane; Odisha: Dangmal, Habalikhati; Tamil Nadu: Chidambaram District—Pitchavaram, Muthupettai, Vavval-Thottam. Mangrove.
Habitat dependence. Transient—Adults and larvae. Larvae also occur in swamps and tree holes in mangroves.
