Diagnosis. Forewing length is 12–14.5 mm in males (12.5 in the holotype) and 16–18 mm in females. The new species varies in its size and forewing width. Externally it can be distinguished from the reddish forms of A. delineata by its less diffuse forewing pattern. The male genitalia of A. tairadiata sp. n. differ from those of A. delineata by the medially broadened and distally narrowed valva (in A. delineata that is evenly broadened distally), more heavily sclerotized costa, more robust medial costal process curved outwards (in A. delineata that is conspicuously smaller and curved inwards), narrower distal costal process bearing 3–4 large various-sized thorns slightly curved outwards (in A. delineata that bears one large thorn outwardly and a crest with numerous various-sized denticles), narrower and weaker setose sacculus, distal saccular process directed distally (in A. delineata that is slightly curved dorsally), aedeagus being more broadened distally, and shorter but broader medial conical diverticulum of aedeagus vesica bearing weaker spinulose scobination. Female genitalia of the new species differ clearly from those of A. delineata by their conspicuously broader and longer postvaginal plate with a posterior medial trigonal protrusion (in A. delineata there is a posterior medial concavity), more rectangular antrum (in A. delineata that is wineglass-shaped), and shorter appendix bursae. In addition, in A. tairadiata sp. n. the rugose area of the VIII sternite surrounding the ostium bursae and postvaginal plate is conspicuously longer and narrower, but more weakly sclerotized than that of A. delineata .

Distribution. The new species is an endemic of Taiwan.

Etymology. The specific epithet represents the combination of the references to the species distribution in Taiwan only and the presence of radial strips in the postmedial area of forewing.
