Material. Malaysia, Pahang, Tahan River, Taman Negara NP, 4° 23.534 N 102° 23.961 E, alt. 90 m, 7.ii.2009, 2/0/0 (mounted).

Morphology. Male (n=2): Idiosoma (ventral view: Fig. 2B ) L 553–572, W 425–438; dorsal shield ( Fig. 2A ) L 466–469, W 356–359, L/W ratio 1.31; dorsal plate 431–438; frontal plate L 116, W 44–50, L/W ratio 2.3–2.6; Cxgl–4 sub-apical; gnathosomal bay L 116, Cx-1 total L 219–223, Cx-1 medial L 105–106, Cx-2+3 medial 81–89; ratio Cx-1 L/Cx-2+3 medial L 2.1; Cx-1 medial L/Cx-2+3 medial L 1.2–1.3; genital field L/W 123–126/103–109, L/W ratio 1.16–1.19; distance genital field–excretory pore 95–100, genital field–caudal idiosoma margin 126–131; capitulum ventral L 263–269; chelicera L 308; palp ( Fig. 2C ) total L 300–303, dL and %L (in parentheses): P-1, 31–33 (10.2–11.0); P-2, 95–99 (31.7–32.7); P-3, 51 (16.8–17.0); P-4, 102–103 (34.0); P-5, 19 (6.3); L P-2/P-4 ratio, 0.93–0.96; P-2 ventral projection protruding distally, ventral protuberances of P-4 ending in two tips separated by a concavity.

Remarks. The specimens from Tahan River agree well with the descriptions given by Lundblad (1956) for the male of Torrenticola minuta from Java and Wiles (1997) for the specimens from Taman Negara, Pahang, Malaysia. A recent description of the female from Malaysia is given by Wiles (1997).

Distribution. Indonesia (Java), Malaysia.
