Figure 7 View FIGURE 7

Description. Female. Body medium. Fastigium verticis wider than scape. Face almost smooth with scattered impressed dots ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ), fastigium frontis separated from fastigium verticis by a narrow suture. Ocelli indistinct. Pronotum with anterior margin slightly projecting, posterior margin almost straight ( Fig. 7B View FIGURE 7 ); lateral lobes longer than high, anterior angle rounded, posterior angle widely rounded ( Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ). Fore coxae swollen with 1 spine ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ). Fore and middle femora unarmed on ventral surfaces, left hind femora with 6 internal spines and 1 external spine on ventral surface. Fore tibiae ventrally with 4 pairs of spurs and 1 pair of apical spurs; middle tibiae with 3 pairs of spurs and 1 pair of apical spurs on ventral surface, dorsal surface with 1 internal spine. Hind tibiae with 1 internal and 6 external spines on dorsal surface, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs.

Second and third abdominal tergites each with two rows of stridulatory pegs ( Fig. 7D View FIGURE 7 ). Seventh abdominal sternite with posterior margin projecting backwards, arched ( Fig. 7H View FIGURE 7 ). Subgenital plate longer than wide, rectangular in ventral view ( Fig. 7H View FIGURE 7 ), basal area with membranous area in middle ( Fig. 7H View FIGURE 7 ), lateral margins curved dorsad with a large notch on each side ( Fig. 7F View FIGURE 7 ), posterior margin widely arched. Ovipositor short, basal half stout, apical half gradually upcurved; dorsal and ventral margins smooth, apices obtuse ( Fig. 7F View FIGURE 7 ).

Male. Unknown.

Coloration. Body yellow brown. Fastigium verticis with transverse black stripe between antennal cavities, internal margins of antennal cavities black ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ). Genae with a longitudinal black stripe below eyes which extending into backward along pleurostomal sulcus ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ), front-clypeal sulcus black with triangular black pattern. Internal margins of scape and flagellum black ( Fig. 7A, C View FIGURE 7 ). Dorsal surface of head with arched black pattern which interrupted in middle, behind with semicircular black pattern, behind eyes with longitudinal black stripe on each side ( Fig. 7B View FIGURE 7 ). Margins of thoracic tergites with wide black margins, dorsal surface of abdomen with longitudinal black band which widened at posterior margins on each tergite, the black band of pronotum obviously wider than other tergites ( Fig. 7B View FIGURE 7 ). Apices of fore and middle femora black. Basal and apical areas of all tibiae with black rings, and dorsal spines of hind tibiae black ( Fig. 7E View FIGURE 7 ).

Material examined. Holotype: female, Anjiangping, Ligui , Guangxi, August 3, 2022, coll. by Siyu Pang, Huan Meng and Pinying Rong.

Measurements (mm). Female: BL 18.6, PL 4.0, HFL 8.2, OvL 5.0.

Distribution. Guangxi (Lingui).

Discussion. The new species differs from Apterolarnaca (Bianigryllacris) fallax by body darker, dorsal surface with black longitudinal band along the midline from apex of fastigium verticis to tenth abdominal tergite, face with black suture between antennal cavities, front-clypeal sulcus black, genae with large black spot, the black longitudinal band of pronotum obviously widened at anterior and posterior margins; female subgenital plate longer than the latter, the lateral margins with 1 large notch on each side.

Etymology. The new species name referring to the body is darker than other species of the subgenus.
