type— ANSP 9535
time—late Campanian of the late Late Cretaceous
horizon and distribution—Judith River Formation of Alberta and Montana
NMC343
KILOGRAMMAGE— — ~80?
This species is based on an unserrated D-cross-sectioned premaxillary tooth from the Judith River. Philip Currie has some new Judith River bones that may belong to this primitive tyrannosaurid; I hope more complete remains will show up and tell us more.
