( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A – D )
Hoplophthiracarus tubulus Hammer, 1972
Phthiracarus tubulus: Niedbała 1986, 1992 , 1998
Measurements of adult. Prodorsum: length 139, width 96, height 51, sensillum 86, interlamellar setae 43, lamellar setae 18, rostral setae 35. Notogaster: length 260, width 162, height 121, notogastral setae 28–33. Anogenital region: genitoaggenital plate 68×58, anoadanal plate 126×66.
Locality: L-2
Diagnosis. Small species. Colour light brown. Body surface smooth. Prodorsum with weak sigillar fields, median large. Lateral carinae well visible. Sensilla long, narrow, more in proximal end and attenuate at distal half. Setae short, erect, rostral and interlamellar rough, in> ro> le; setae ex vestigial. Notogaster with 15 pairs of short, rough setae. Setae c1 and c3 remote from anterior border, setae c 2 far away of border. Lyrifissures and vestigial setae invisible. Seven pairs of genital setae with formula: 4+2:1. Two pairs of flagelliform anal setae shorter than three pairs of adanal setae. Chaetome of legs of “incomplete type ”. Seta v’ of femora I and setae l’ of genu IV absent; setae d of femora at distal end of article.
Remark. This species belong to genus Arphthicarus because of the arrangement of genital setae and rough notogastral setae.
